A warm and hospitable stay awaits you at the Keemalekad Estate House, a typical traditional Kodava house providing the basic rustic amenities. The Estate House is part of a complex that includes the Nadikeriyanda family “Iynemane”.
The Iynemane still serves as the spiritual and symbolic place, where the family gathers to worship the Ancestors and celebrate festivals.
Based on specific needs and the group size, participants will be accommodated in rooms or dormitories. The more adventurous can opt for the camp style accommodation in tents and log huts.
Delicious and healthy traditional Kodava food is served at Keemalekad. Besides, the famous non-vegetarian dishes, the menu will consist of organically cultivated vegetarian delicacies from plants that are exotic to Kodagu and the Western Ghats, like tender bamboo, mushrooms, as well as a rich variety of fruits.
Groups and participants can also enjoy the warmth of a night campfire with exclusive moonlit barbecue.
