Inchara is situated amidst the western ghats, in the heart of Malnad which is known for its scenic beauty. Here, nature dances at its full form with the finest hills, valleys, ponds, waterfalls, paddy fields, streams, and arecanut gardens; while the river Tunga flowing through Sringeri, Thirthahalli, Mandagadde, Gajanur, Shimoga, joins the river Bhadra to form Tunga-Bhadra at Kudli.
