For its expansive sunflower fields, Hassan is known all over as the ‘land of the sunflower’.
Located at an altitude of 957 m above sea level, the Hoysala Village Resort, in Hassan, Karnataka is 194 km from Bangalore, 60 km from Mysore, 120 km from Mangalore. Easily accessible, one can cruise down the well-maintained Bangalore-Mangalore highway to reach the resort. The breezy, cool and pleasant picturesque town of Hassan is located in the heart of the Malanad region which was made famous by the Hoysala Dynasty with its unique style of architecture.
The town’s outskirts are dominated mainly by farmlands, at patches of forest and lakes. For its expansive sunflower fields, Hassan is known all over as the ‘land of the sunflower’.
Hassan is also an important landmark in the tourism map of Karnataka. It has rich history and heritage. The resort is a perfect stop-over to explore several important attractions in and around Hassan like Belur, Halebidu, Shravanabelagola, Manzarabad fort, Shettyhalli Church and Backwater, Bisle Ghat, Doddagaddavalli, Koramangala, Mosale and Gorur.

Each cottage is indulgently spacious, luxurious, and secluded for your ultimate privacy and intimacy. The vintage-style design with bricks and wood has a traditional feel and accented with a contemporary flair. The resort has 30 Superior Cottages and 4 Deluxe Suits.
The Deluxe Cottages are fitted with AC and are perfect for double occupancy, along with children (below 10 yrs). Exclusive and designed to maintain privacy, each of these cottages are separate from one another. Apart from an intricately designed interior, all rooms are fitted with basic amenities, including telephone, geyser, ceiling fans and also have a spacious sit-out area.
The Deluxe Suits are awe-inspiring, have a living room with a sit-out area which offers excellent view of the resort. The rooms are large, spacious and comfortable, designed elegantly with themes – a perfect respite at the end of a vibrant day. Deluxe Suits are fitted with AC and are perfect for double occupancy, along with Children (below 10 yrs).
The architect of the resort has successfully managed to retain the local flavor and the cottages and suits are designed to maintain and enhance the rustic feel.
