Syntheri Rock:
Syntheri Rock is a spectacular sight located in deep jungle of Joida Taluk, Around 210 Steps we have to climb down to go near water where we can notice thousands of pigeons in the rock made their home. The complete view will be wow view for your eyes.
Dandeli Sangam & River Eco Park:
Moulanggi small river water gets merged into the Kali river so it is called as Sangam. This spot has become outsider’s favorite picnic spot. Tourist’s visits here spend lot of time and enjoy the nature view, also it is a White Water Rafting End Point.
Kavla Cave:
Kavala caves or Siddan cave is situated at a distance of 23 Kms from Dandeli and 3200 feet above the sea level. About 150 feet inside the cave a Shiva Linga is present. A small stream of water falls on the Shiva Linga, which gives the feeling that an ‘abhishekha’ is performed to Lord Shiva. Shivarathri day is when devotees come in thousands.
Sunset point at Backwater:
It’s just 7 kms from our Stay to reach backwaters where Kali water is stored at the back of Supa dam.Make a trip to backwater in the evening to have memorable sunset beauty.
Nagazari view point:
Nagzari viewpoint is a must see destination for all visitors who come to Dandeli.This place is just 0.5 km from Kulgi nature camp. Layers of valleys one behind the other in different shades gives a spectacular view from the vista point.
Kulgi Interpretation centre:
Kulgi Nature Camp is located at a distance of 8 km from Our Stay. This camp has small museum called nature interpretation centre.This museum has a good collection of insects and moths. It also provides information about wildlife of Dandeli jungle.
Magod falls and Jenukallu Gudda:
Magod Falls is situated close to the Magod Village and is around 19 km from Yellapur and around two hours drive from DKF. This waterfall of the Bedthi river falls from a height of 650 ft, into a narrow valley of rocks. It is situated close to the famous sunset point in the region, the Jenukallu Gudda.
Satoddi falls:
Sathodi Satoddi Falls is a waterfall in India that is formed by several unnamed streams near Kallaramarane Ghat, Uttara Kannada District, near Sirsi, and 32 km from Yellapur. It is about 15 metres (49.2 feet) tall. The stream then flows into the backwaters of the Kodasalli Dam, into the Kali River. It is best to visit the falls in winter, from early November to the end of march. Avoid the rainy season.
Dudhsagar Falls :
Castle Rock is border village of the district beyond which is Goa. 10 Kms from Castle rock in the middle of thick forest, along the railway track, the Dudhsagar falls gives a feast to the tourists eyes. The area is also a “trekker’s paradise”, in every sense. This place has become favorite place for some film director to shoot. Kannada MYNAA , DUDHSAGAR film and Hindi Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express film Sean was shooted here.
Ulvi Temple :
North Karnataka’s most famous pilgrimage place Shri Ulavi Channabasaveshwara Temple which is situated in the heart of the tiger reserve and attracts nearly lakhs of tourists every year. Every year in the month of February Temple’s annual fair is held.
Little Tibet :
Mundgod is a repository of Tibetan life and culture. It showcases the lifestyle and ambitions of the Tibetan refugees and reflects the gradual transformation of a traditional society into modernity. It has been referred to as Mini Tibet / Tibet Colony.
