The farm stay is located just 8 kms from the township of Kotagiri, 27 kms from Coonoor and 35 kms from the district capital township of Ooty. The nearest supplies shop is just a couple minutes drive away and you’ll find pretty much anything that you need in Kotagiri, which is 8 kms away.

The road leading up to our farmhouse serves the tea gardens and terminates at the tribal Irula village close by. There is negligible traffic throughout the day and only leaf jeeps frequent the road during evening hours making the area traffic and people free throughout the day. The farmhouse is situated further into the estate so you can enjoy the feeling of total seclusion.

The farm stay that we have setup came into being as we wanted a home away from the madding crowd of cities and towns. Having lived in the Nilgiris for many years and having watched the towns and villages grow we scouted out this alternative area which has the advantage of being just 7 kms out of the township of Kotagiri and yet nestled amongst thick forests and rolling undisturbed countryside with amazing views of the deep valleys which form the heart and soul of the Nilgiris district.

Our space is a labour of love and is the ideal destination for a family, And couple of families or groups of individuals who basically love the outdoor life, A spacious home but with a great degree of personal space when it comes to cooking and living styles.

The farmhouse comprises of three bedrooms with attached bath and toilet, A spacious living area with a fireplace and large windows, A very well appointed kitchen and pantry with space to dine and a very large covered sitI Out cum balcony which faces the stunningly beautiful valley in front. The kitchen is equipped with basic appliances like toaster, Microwave, Refrigerator, Piped gas, Induction plate and fully stocked cutlery.

The only sounds that one hears during the day are those of birds. There are some sightings of wild life in the neighborhood largely during the evening, Night and early morning hours. Indian gaur, Barking deer, The Indian sloth bear and the occasional elephant have been sighted in and around the farm. But people and animals in the area have always enjoyed a friendly and easy living environment.
