Coffee Trails Coorg was born of a dream; Capt. Suraj. K. Rao, a pilot who retired as General Manager from Indian Airlines, always wanted to spend his retired life away from the city’s maddening crowds and in the midst of his lush estate in Coorg. His wife, Ragini Suraj however, had a different dream. While she enjoyed nature’s charms, she wanted to meet and interact with different people.

Coffee Trails Coorg was the beautiful result of the merging of their dreams. In Coorg, they built their dream home nestled amidst the thickly carpeted green hills laced with the exotic, wild fragrances of the surrounding plantations and the resounding silence of the valley.

They opened up their homestay to people who wished to share this experience with them. Coffee Trails Coorg was started on their verdant property near Virajpet. Built beneath perpetual moisture laden clouds, it is a blend of the cool and pristine environment outside and the cozy warmth of their home inside.
