Nairobi – Aberdares – Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara National Reserve

ITINERARY

Day 1 – Arrival Nairobi:
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your Nairobi hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 – Nairobi – Full day:
After breakfast, you will depart for a visit to Tea Farm in Limuru (Kiambethu Tea Farm) afterward lunch. Visit to a local Maasai market in Nairobi, and return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3 – Nairobi to Aberdares:
After breakfast at Your hotel depart and drive northwards of Nairobi to Aberdares arriving in time for lunch at Aberdare Country club the base serving hotel for the Ark Lodge. After lunch, you will be transferred to the Ark with the option of a game drive in the park or game viewing from the lodge balcony as the animals come to drink from a floodlit water hole near the lodge. Clients with a 5-star option will overnight at Ol Pejeta Conservancy while Clients booked on options for 3 and 4star will be based at Aberdares and overnight at the Ark.

Day 4 – Aberdares to Lake Nakuru:
Breakfast in your lodge or Camp, depart and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park famous for the great number of flamingos and the white rhino. Diner at your lodge and depart for an afternoon game drive in the park and around the lake until sunset. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5 – Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara:
Depart early in the morning and drive to Masai mara reserve, lunch at your booked Lodge/Camp. In the afternoon depart for your first game drive in the reserves until sunset, and return to your booked lodge / Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6 – Maasai Mara Full day:
Early morning tea/coffee at 06h00 around the reception area, depart for early morning game drive in the reserve. This is usually the best game viewing time as during the early hours, temperatures are low and the animals are most active. Return to the lodge at 08h00 for a buffet breakfast, Morning at leisure in your lodge or camp, followed by lunch in the and thereafter at 16h00 proceed for afternoon game drive until sunset. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 – Maasai Mara Full day:
Early morning tea/coffee at 06h00 around the reception area, depart for early morning game drive in the reserve. This is usually the best game viewing time as during the early hours, temperatures are low and the animals are most active. Return to the lodge at 08h00 for a buffet breakfast, Morning at leisure in your lodge or camp, followed by lunch in the lodge, and thereafter at 16h00 proceed for an afternoon game drive until sunset returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8 – Departure:
Early in the morning depart Masai mar and drive to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon and transferring to the airport for your international flight.
