Tusk & Dawn, prides itself for the measures taken to protect and preserve the environment. Spread over 70 acres of pure environs the landsacpe is 100% natural. The materiel used for construction have been locally sourced – the bricks made out of the clay from the land. Not a single tree has been felled or has made way for the facility.

A wild life enthusiast, Coffee planter and eco conservationist, Vikram is the son of the soil and having lived all his life in the region, Vikram knows every yard of the forest like the back of his hand. The uncrowned local sheriff, Vikram is an ocean of knowledge on every aspect of these ranges, be it trekking, wild life photography or bird watching. Over the last few years, Vikram has been instrumental in orchestrating the Freedom Rally, a 4×4 off the beat rally organised by the Munzerabad club, Sakleshpur held at these ranges.
